❧ About the Salon
Hosts Michael and James are devoted patrons of the arts, with a particular love for live music. We are delighted to welcome intimate audiences of approximately 30 guests into our home for performances by the finest musicians from Canada and beyond. Most concerts feature a pianist performing on our very fine Ibach grand piano. The Salon is located in the Crown Isle neighbourhood of Courtenay. Read more about us…
❧ The Experience
There is something very special about hearing live music in a private home. The distance between performer and listener simply disappears - you hear every breath, every nuance, every quiet note. Before and after the concert, you're welcome to chat with the musicians, and a light snack and beverage are included with your ticket. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine! ❧ Supporting Musicians
We believe the most meaningful way to support musicians is simply to pay them well for doing what they do best. We don't profit from hosting these concerts. All but $3 of your ticket price goes directly to the musicians; the remainder covers our costs: beverages and snacks, website hosting, and regular piano tuning and maintenance.

It's easy! Begin by joining our mailing list. Concert announcements go out exactly eight weeks before each event, and seats always fill quickly.
