Hosts and Venue
Michael and James are passionate patrons of the arts, especially live music. We are fortunate to be able to host small audiences of around 30 people in our home to enjoy intimate performances by extraordinary musicians. Most concerts include a pianist playing our well-maintained Ibach grand piano. The Salon is located in the Crown Isle neighbourhood of Courtenay. Read more about us...
A Relaxing Experience
At our intimate home concerts you can really unwind and enjoy the music in a relaxed setting. Chat with the musicians before or after the concert. Enjoy a light snack and beverage – included in the ticket price. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine! There’s nothing quite like experiencing live music in a small setting. We hope the experience will feel just like home.
Supporting Musicians
Helping musicians earn a living – and an audience – by having them make music for you… is there a better way to support musicians, the arts, and the community? We don’t make any money from hosting these concerts. All but $3 of what you pay for the ticket is paid directly to the musicians. The extra $3 covers our costs (beverages and snacks during the concert; website hosting fees; piano tuning and maintenance).
