Michael and James are devoted patrons of the arts, with a particular love for live music. We are delighted to welcome intimate audiences of approximately 30 guests into our home for exceptional performances by outstanding musicians. Most concerts feature a pianist performing on our beautifully maintained Ibach grand piano. The Salon is located in the Crown Isle neighbourhood of Courtenay. Read more about us...
❧ What It's Like
At our intimate home concerts you can really unwind and enjoy the music in a relaxed setting. You can imagine what it would be like if the concert was taking place in your own home. Chat with the musicians before or after the concert. Enjoy a light snack and beverage – included in the ticket price. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine! There’s nothing quite like experiencing live music in a small setting.
❧ We Support Musicians
Helping musicians earn a living by having them make music for you… is there a better way to support musicians, the arts, and the community? We don’t make any money from hosting these concerts. All but $3 of what you pay for the ticket is paid directly to the musicians. The extra $3 covers our costs (beverages and snacks during the concert; website hosting fees; regular piano tuning and maintenance).
