JUNO-nominated jazz pianist Anthony D'Alessandro brings his West Coast tour to the Salon for an intimate evening of music by George Gershwin, joined by special guest Steve Wallace. Join us for an evening of world-class jazz in the salon — up close, vibrant, and unforgettable.

By popular demand, acclaimed Canadian composer and pianist David Braid returns to the Salon for his third engagement. David's original music fuses European classical intricacy with American jazz spontaneity, melodic and rhythmic in ways that defy easy categorization. A unique, new program is in the works.

Musicians from the Vancouver Schubertiade Salon Series ~ soprano Szu-Wen Wang, pianist Ronald Sat, and mezzo-soprano Lynda Clarke ~ join us to present a selection of Schubert art songs and solo piano works. Our very own Schubertiade!

Concert pianist Shoko Inoue brings Chopin, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff to the Salon. A prize winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition New York Chopin Competition, Shoko seeks each composer's deep, inner prayers, uncovering meditations, confessions, and mystical transformations for the audience.

Ménestrel, an early music ensemble from Montreal, brings us "In the Garden's Folly" - a delightful program of Elizabethan airs, French baroque songs, ballads and melodies by Josquin des Prez, Frescobaldi, Monteverdi, Dowland and others.

Join soprano Jennifer Rasor and pianist Dagmar Kilian for an exploration on water traveling from rain, into lakes, down streams and rivers and finally out to sea and home again. Follow along with Romantic era Art Songs, Folksongs and piano interludes from England, Norway, France, America, and Canada.

Vancouver-based pianist Dr. Melody Chan brings poised elegance and technical prowess to the piano. Known for curating thought-provoking programs, Melody will present an engaging selection of works for solo piano to our Salon audience.
