$30 per ticket - SOLD OUT!
The 2nd concert in the York Place Musical Salon.
About the Event
This concert will feature a trio with the unusual instrumentation of trombone, piano and bass – unusual in that the trombone is not often heard as the only featured horn in a small group. Trombonist Jeff Agopsowicz has the musical range and imagination to make this work beautifully at a low volume level. The trio will perform a range of material including ballads and standards, jazz/ bebop pieces and some of Jeff’s original compositions, making for music you won’t hear anywhere else.
About the Musicians
Jeff Agopsowicz, a jazz trombonist fixture in the Comox Valley, is a former member of Victoria’s Naden band and one half of the duo “Trombone Mayhem”.
