Ménestrel, an early music ensemble from Montreal, brings us "In the Garden's Folly" - a delightful program of Elizabethan airs, French baroque songs, ballads and melodies by Josquin des Prez, Frescobaldi, Strozzi, Monteverdi, Dowland and others.

Baritone Michael MacKinnon, mezzo-soprano Shanté Van Horlick and pianist Scott Knight present the music and tales of Scotland's timeless bard and those he has influenced for the last 250 years. This joyful and memorable musical afternoon will highlight why Burns holds such importance and why his legacy is passionately celebrated even today.

Canadian composer and pianist David Braid performs jazz standards he arranged for the film "Born to be Blue" about the life of jazz trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker. David is joined by stellar musicians Steve Wallace on bass, Mike Allen on saxophone, and Anders Mogensen on percussion.
