By popular demand, acclaimed Canadian composer and pianist David Braid returns to the Salon for his third engagement. David's original music fuses European classical intricacy with American jazz spontaneity, melodic and rhythmic in ways that defy easy categorization. A unique, new program is in the works.

Musicians from the Vancouver Schubertiade Salon Series ~ soprano Szu-Wen Wang, pianist Ronald Sat, and mezzo-soprano Lynda Clarke ~ join us to present a selection of Schubert art songs and solo piano works. Our very own Schubertiade!

Concert pianist Shoko Inoue brings Chopin, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff to the Salon. A prize winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition New York Chopin Competition, Shoko seeks each composer's deep, inner prayers, uncovering meditations, confessions, and mystical transformations for the audience.
